Due to this specialisation, expertise and experience we can not only offer potatoes throughout the year, but also onions from August until July in different varieties of assorting and size.

Our professional storing includes a fast and gentle drying with hot air, which gives our onions a nicely developed and couloured skin and prevents the onions from any sort of diseases usually caused by storing.

Our core business covers three main areas: storage, processing and marketing. We are always anxious to have the highest standards in technology and marketing research. This is why we constantly research in the fields of onions- and potatoes growing, to find the best varieties in each region.

Our team, activities and the developments in the Börde-Frucht GmbH are customer oriented and geared to improve the market position of our customers.

Our advantage are also large uniform batches from the field and cutting-edge storage with cooling, seperated by variety and growers. Furthermore, we have our own processing, packingmachines, plenty of storage space and loading docks.

Preparation

The preperatin is constantly monitored by our service team. Therefor we have our own potato and onion sorting facility, 2 washing stations (one portable), 3 packingmachines (filling from 1 to 25 kg), 2 palletizer and a "big bag" filler. Our special features:

• Gentle reduction of leaf debris for onions
• Manual sorting of the potatoes and onions after the fractionation

Storage

Our storage capacity holds a total of 105.000 tons, which includes 16.000 tons of cold storage. Our special features:

• Optimal storage in suitable stores with drying and aeration systems
• Loose boxes- and cases storage
• Long-term storage in cold storage boxes
• Storage in an optimum height to avoid bearing pressure points
• Continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity
• fast and gentle drying with hot air, which gives our onions a nicely developed and couloured skin and prevents the onions from any sort of diseases usually caused by storing

The Börde-Frucht GmbH offers for the business areas industrial, wholesale and household a balanced range of sorts with different collations.
